GEI WideFormat Solutions, a Visual Edge Technology Company, created traffic to its booth at the Graphics of the Americas Show in Miami Beach where the company presented the newest addition to the popular Colortrac SmartLF line of large format scanners. The SmartLF Gx 25 features the latest in 1200dpi optical resolution CCD technology and is designed for fast, high quality scans, copies or file distribution of D-size documents that contain fine image detail and require full color or monochrome image capture. It's designed for large format photographs, artwork, satellite images, graphic designs and posters. The finest details of maps, blueprints, architectural renderings, engineering drawings and other technical documents are accurately captured at resolutions from 100 up to 9600dpi. This versatile scanner can capture images off media up to 25" wide by any length and there's a Gx T version for motorized thick media scanning of mounted originals up to 0.8" thickness.
