SmartLF
Every Colortrac SmartLF scanner comes complete with the software to get you scanning and printing straight out of the box! Simply switch on the scanner, install the windows scanner driver and the SmartLF software – this versatile application covers all basic scanning requirements.
SmartLF is a simple to use, multi-purpose software application that allows the user to scan to JPEG, TIFF and PDF formats. You can also copy to any windows printer and email alongside any Microsoft compatible email client. SmartLF is designed for ease of use with an intuitve user interface, this means that your "straightforward" jobs are literally completed by anyone at the click of a button.
CopySmart
This easy to use, efficient scan-to-copy software totally eliminates the need to first scan then print files by routing live scan data directly to efficient custom-built color profiled printer drivers. CopySmart is compatible with the majority of high-speed black and white LED printers, but the software is designed to work most effectively with roll-fed inkjet printers. The application copies the original (enlarged or reduced as required) to the chosen printer with the minimum of paper wastage.
CopySmart copies in color, grayscale and monochrome (for blueprints). It can multi-copy, crop, enlarge, reduce and even enhance copy quality. Other features include text and logo insertion, step & repeat (for multiple copy across roll) CMYK color output adjustment and color replacement.
ScanWorks
This powerful scan-to-file software accelerates the process of moving scan data to disk. The scanner's high speed data transfer and ScanWorks’ design eliminates the time-consuming prescan of other systems and a virtual thresholding interface in black and white mode optimises even the worst quality originals with just a single scan.
Central to ScanWorks' design is an efficient single-pass process to save the user time and minimise document movement (and possible wear) through the scanner. This also minimises document skew caused by back and forth "checking". As soon as the document is fully visible on the screen (usually just seconds after scanning has finished) the data is stored on disk. If no further work is required such as cropping or rotation, the document can be saved, instantly, and the user is free to start the next scan.
ScanWorks allows "non-stop" scanning in batch-scanning mode where the operator is prompted to insert the next document without using the mouse. If the current document then needs rotating or re-thresholding the user is free to use the editing controls. Saving the image is the cue for batch scanning to resume or the batch job can simply be cancelled.
