11/13/08 - Technical Service Alliance with Mondrian-Hall |
November 13, 2008 (North Canton, Ohio) - Mr. Roger Ilgen, President and General Manager of GEI WideFormat, a Visual Edge Technology Company, announced today that it has entered into an exclusive technical services agreement in Canada with Mondrian-Hall, Inc. GEI WideFormat is a leading provider of third party technical support, applications expertise and training to manufacturers and distributors of wide format printers, scanners and related equipment. It provides direct technical support to well established manufacturers and has helped new manufacturers enter the North American market.
Mr. Ilgen explained that GEI is committed to both high quality and responsive technical service to its manufacturing partners and end users. “As we evaluated our resources in Canada, the geographic size of the country and the growth potential, it was evident that we had to expand our ability to provide quick response to customers who needed installation, repair and application support. By entering into an agreement with Mondrian-Hall, we are expanding the available resources from 3 technicians located in 2 markets to 30 technicians spread across the 10 major markets in Canada. We are confident that it will provide faster response to customers, while maintaining our commitment to superior quality support.” The existing GEI WideFormat technical staff will be joining the Mondrian-Hall team.
Mondrian-Hall is a company with 100 years of experience providing products and services to professionals involved in the creation and printing of technical drawings, display graphics, signage and wide format exhibits. With about 140 staff, including 30 technical support staff, it operates in 10 major markets across Canada. Mr. Jack Ford, Mondrian-Hall CEO, indicated that this agreement is consistent with the company’s mission to be a single source for equipment, supplies and technical services to the wide format market place.
“We are excited to complete this agreement and expand our partnership with GEI,” Mr. Ford commented. “Not only does it increase our ability to provide quality technical support to customers, but it also complements our ability to provide a wide range of supplies and introduce new printing technologies to wide format customers in Canada. It is an opportunity for both GEI and Mondrian-Hall to expand their effectiveness and be an even better resource to customers.”
